BP has been distributed exclusively in Egypt since 2002 through the Natural Gas Vehicles Company (Cargas). Cargas is one of the first companies in Egypt & the Middle East to commercialize compressed natural gas (CNG) as an alternative lower carbon fuel for vehicles. BP’s range of Visco and Vanellus products distributed in Egypt includes engine oils specifically designed for vehicles running on CNG. Cargas is a market leader in vehicle conversions, as well as a major player in the sale of CNG through its diverse and growing network of retail stations across Egypt.

BP’s range of automotive lubricants are distributed by GENAVCO, which is part of the prestigious Juma al Majid Group of companies, arguably one of the largest business conglomerates in the UAE. As the authorized sole distributor for BP lubricants in Dubai and the northern emirates, the association between BP and GENAVCO dates back to 1968. A distribution network is as diverse as it is efficient. The result is a partnership with BP and a growing family of loyal customers who have been swearing by BP lubricants for well over 50 years.
